Treated just like a new hire for full time position. You got a lot of responsibility, which can be daunting but also provide very good learning experience. Definitely learned a lot as software Engineer both in terms of soft skills, project planning, and technical skills.

Cons

understaffed, so a lot of work to do everything and can be exhausting sometimes.
