Pros

If you enjoy people, this is a laid-back environment that allows plenty of interaction with customers, including regular customers.

Cons

There are hundreds of details to remember and some procedures aren't used often enough to really get a handle on them when you are a part-time employee. Training is on-the-job, fast-paced and inconsistent.

All UPS stores are franchises; this means that essentially each owner is free to set up their business however they want.

Cons

Unfortunately, the Pro mentioned is also a Con. Owners are free to do whatever it is that they want-- including talking down to employees, firing employees for no reason whatsoever, etc.
