Reality of Turing

Pros

Less work and responsibilities, comparatively good work life balance.

Cons

If you have a brave heart and want some adventure, surely go for this company. 6 layoffs in the last 2 years, dreams shattered, promises broken, after every layoff the management said its only the last but after 3 months again they come up with some restructuring drama . No real work, just data scrapping from linkedin or from wherever they can get free data and spam the person’s inbox. Spam emails being sent in the name of domain improvement, but in reality nothings getting improved. Worst company to start your career as a fresher or even as an experienced person. Never ever join this organisation if you care about your career even a little bit.

Pros

Remote work, Flexible and No Micromanaging.

Cons

Turing is a case study in how poorly to run a business. Every quarter, hardworking individuals are laid off, while incompetence is celebrated. And don't even get me started on the Content team, which was full of stupid managers who can't even create a single piece of content but are paid far more than writers. Company laid off the writers and demoted the managers to producers who can't produce any content now. LOL. The annual raise is a joke here, ranging from 2% to 3%.

Pros

Salary was good considered where I lived and flexibility.

Cons

In the wave of layoffs the CEO was always saying no more layoffs would happen and happened 3 times in a short period of time. Every time he said something making employees to believe all was fine but at the same time people feeling the pressure to work to show results and keep the job. The layoffs speeches were all the same, he didn’t even bother to change it while reading. Laying off people and hiring new ones. You lose the whole access and can’t even say goodbye to the people you worked and you don’t know what you did wrong for lack of good feedback.
