      Mixed feelings! Not Horrible but no UPWARD MOBILITY

      Pros

      UPS has a pretty good tuition reimbursement program, although the book cost have been cut to $25 a class. Your gonna end up paying hundreds per quarter for your books! You get 5 discretionary days to use in addition to 2 weeks of vacation. Benefits are good but copays and coverage changes are coming this year.

      Cons

      There is no upward mobility in this company. If your happy doing what you were hired to do or content with being a part-time supervisor than by all means work for UPS. If you think your going to go to college and get promoted into the upper ranks of UPS you've got another thing coming. The company has changed from a decade ago and full-time slots are few and far between. The good supervisors are leaving because of a lack of opportunities!

      Pros

      Great benefits -health-dental and vision even for part-time employees. Early morning hrs allow you to have your days free. good tuition reimbursement plan.

      Cons

      1. No reward for doing a good job, the harder you work the more they put on you. Instead of making the weak employees better, they give them something easier to do. 2. Weak management,t try to lead by intimidation and fear. 3.Not ethical on employees log in times. I have written my wekly times down in the past and they don't coincide to what I was paid on my check.

      strong Industrial engineering team. Good Health Benefits. Good place to start a career. Name recognition worlwide . Tuition reimbursement. Good Management

      Cons

      Lack of promotions. UPS is full of people that had been working for the company for along time. People can't change the way of thinking. Reduction of stock.
