Pros

The company is changing their views on tech They are respecting the IT employees more The CIEO is dedicated to changing the old corporate business structure They are currently getting rid of the older tenured employees so they can continue to modernize and get the most technologically driven and minded indivduals the keys to the company

Cons

The pay is lower than the industry standard by a good amount You are expected to work additional hours when on support with no compensation For people new to the company the culture shift may seem slow

Pros

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, 6 weeks of training, co-workers make it worth coming in every day, pay is above average and offers commissions, get to volunteer around Greenville during work hours.

Cons

Where do I begin..... This job is the most miserable job I have ever had! Supervisors and managers are dumber and dress like bums. I don't know how promotions are offered??? Bonus checks are a toss up based on your territory. You will live in a cubicle with a headset and be asked to do way more than is possible. Raises every year can be as low as 5 cents. Customers always complain or want better rates and the company wants to offer value like paperless billing to offset the cost or other dumb things that have no value. Its all about price and they dont want you to sell on price so there goes more of your money away. They are quick to write people up for almost anything. I was there 7 years and did well but I saw hundreds get fired or quit over silly things. The job isn't secure. Pensions go away in 2023. You are not part of the union and before long the jobs will be sent overseas to Guatemala like many have done already. Call 1-800-PICK UPS and good luck understanding anyone. They will have your job next. Do not APPLY unless you plan on leaving within 1 year. Any more than that is pure torture!! This was a honest review. I left on my own for a better opportunity and stayed long enough to know what I am talking about. You will sit in a chair 8 hours and get fat lol.
