Pros

Great health insurance, access to a pension, optional 401k.

Cons

Working hours are incredibly inconsistent, for part time employees, depending on the hub, you might work a consist 4 to 3 and half hours per day, or you might work barely 3 hours most days. It depends on management’s preferred approach to the sort, and it seems from my perspective most managers and supervisors are concerned about getting payroll as low as possible over everything else. It’s also physically exhausting work, dangerous in the summers. For Part time employees, advancing into a full time position is extremely unlikely.
