Pros

Cons

The statistical likelihood of becoming an alcoholic in US military combat arms, supersedes any other statistical factor. (If you are not an alcoholic, you are an anomaly)

Pros

Great pay and benefits, exceptional opportunities to experience high stakes leadership positions at a young age.

Cons

Autonomy may be limited depending on the command climate. Lots of overtime without overtime pay is always expected.
