Pros

You get free medical and dental There is a guaranteed paycheck every month or twice a month There is a program for every problem you could have so you are well supported Your college is paid for You are guaranteed the job you signed up for as long as you pass the school It's a good way to make and keep good habits like exercising almost everyday It's a job you can be proud to do, many strangers thank you for what you do Leadership and coworkers are always changing You get to live in different places and experience things many americans will never do or see Some jobs are easy to be promoted in, it's on a point system instead of relying on individuals

Cons

Sometimes you get stuck with bad leadership, but if you can stick it out they (or you) will leave You have to sign for years at a time You have to work longer hours sometimes, but you work less on other days (they are usually good about giving Comp. time unless you have crappy leadership.) You have to wake up early, but you get used to it Some jobs are hard to get promoted in You HAVE to do what you are told. HAVE to. If you get a dishonorable discharge, it's almost impossible to get a good job.
