Pros

Soldiers, soldiers, soldiers; opportunities to develop leadership skills; travel around the world; steady paycheck; great medical, dental, vision benefits; four weeks of paid leave a year

Cons

Deployments, deployments, deployments; promotion is only based on time and not merit or performance; some army bases are located in very small towns

Pros

this was a great place to intern especially as a student in high school. Much better than regular high school jobs, taught me about engineering.

Cons

Sometimes there was too little to do and just not enough work to keep busy, which could be boring at times.

Pros

Great benefits for self and family, good training, discounted prices for gas, food, and groceries on post.. Provides good opportunity to be promoted as long as you work hard and take initiative

Cons

Officers seem to not understand the enlisted way of doing things.. seemed that many high ranking officers looked down upon enlisted members like we were't good enough in some way
