I work in a great organization. We are open and honest and have each other’s best interests at heart as we work to deliver an important mission. Pay and benefits are reasonable at lower and mid levels in the organization. Senior staff compensation is not really comparable with private industry… something else drives us.

Cons

Bureaucracy exists in such a large organization; when the mission demands it, everything else takes a backseat
