Pros

Good benefits like number of leaves, WFH Setup support.

Cons

Crazy level of office politics in the Bengaluru office, why? because all the Utopus employees suddenly got merged into VESTAS, which doesn't understand the work culture. On top of that, all the VESTAS managers also have a very bad and outdated mentality towards handling any situation. Team Lead/Chapter Leads are just here to make you feel worse every day. Being a Software engineer, seeing all this makes you feel down. This is not a SaaS based company, so all the people have a rigid manufacturing plant kind of mentality to handle work here. Asking for Remote work is like asking your chapter lead their soul. too harsh behaviour from the Chapter Lead and Managers; all are being manipulated by the local Bengaluru office Director, who is forcing everyone into their own modified policy, which changes as they wish. In short, "If you are a very good software engineer, with a good amount of experience, my recommendation is not to join this company or specifically the Bengaluru office location, find a good SaaS based company that actually builds software and might have a better work culture than this"

Pros

Part of the Team are friendly. Salary and benefits are okay.

Cons

I’ve found that onboarding and knowledge-sharing processes could be improved. New team members often face challenges in understanding the business context, and there seems to be limited structured support for learning. In some cases, asking questions or seeking clarification can be perceived negatively, which may discourage open communication and learning. Additionally, frequent changes in scope and direction can make it difficult to stay aligned with expectations. More consistent guidance and support from line managers would help teams feel more confident and empowered to meet goals. Overall, fostering a more supportive and human-centered culture could significantly enhance both morale and performance
