WM has got steadily worse since I joined two years ago.

The pension is very good.

Cons

Since the company got bought by Hellman Friedman working for WM has been a disappointing experience. Salary increases and bonuses have been completely decimated and moral is at an all time low. It is such a shame as it used to be such a good company to work for. As a Data Analyst my two years have been a struggle to be recognised over the heads of Analysts who are rewarded far better.

Work/life balance. Helpful coworkers. Supportive and nice culture.

Cons

Compensation, career growth (reaches stagnation in 2 years), lack of new ideas and projects, senior management still struggling to figure out what the company should be like in next 5 years. A conflict within company whether to project itself as a data company or research or consulting firm. Company severely lacking deep talent at low and mid levels.
