Pros

- Good company to start your career - Lot of opportunities to learn new things - Amazing people - Very International - Friendly Co-Founders

Cons

- Poor leadership on the Business side of C-Suite. They are good to run the business as usual as they joined the company as interns more than 7 yrs ago. However they lack vision and the necessary drive to bring the company to the next level. - Concentration of power within a specific group of top level who decide everything in the company and always think they made the right decision. They decide who they want to hire on their team if there is an open position. No fair chance is given to other existing employees to interview for higher positions. Lot of Nepotism and Favoritism. - Changes in the company structure 1-2 times a year - People managers are not considered for their suggestions when making changes to their teams. The top management just decide themselves and then ask people managers to share this decisions and make things work - Some top managers lack sense of collective responsibility. Do not take ownership of the mistakes they make. But when you make one mistake, it will be the reason for you not getting promoted - Lack of empathy from some top management. They might be good in running the business, and good managers. But poor leaders - Feedback to some too management is just useless as they they would just listen and not change anything - HR team openly promotes speaking up and giving feedback, but when you do it, it is not appreciated. And in turn you get a feedback from them that you talk too much - Career progression is slow. Even after a good 360 feedback, your manager has the power to not promote you or put you up for promotion - Incompetent managers who are closer to top levels will have a better chance to progress - Huge inconsistencies in salaries. They pay employees 20-30% less salary than the range defined by the company itself. Forget about comparing salaries with other companies - No innovation or encouragement for people with an innovative mindset. You will be just asked to talk to someone else, and then that someone else to someone else - No bonus to any other teams except the KAM team - No budget for team events if you are a team who does not make revenue directly. You will be seen as a cost center - Hardly any employee benefits

Hi, Thank you for sharing your insights as a former Senior Marketing Manager at Global Savings Group. We greatly value your feedback, as it helps us identify areas for improvement and growth. We're glad to hear you found value in our learning opportunities, international work environment, and the overall positive atmosphere at GSG. These aspects are vital to our company culture and employee experience. Addressing your concerns about leadership, decision-making, and career progression, we are actively working on initiatives that align with these areas. As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, our People & Culture team is preparing an enhanced performance and salary review process for 2024. This initiative is designed to recognize strong performance and offer more transparent and equitable career advancement opportunities. We also understand the importance of fair and competitive compensation. To address this, we're employing a new matrix system to determine salary increases based on individual performance and market standards. This system is part of our ongoing effort to ensure fairness and competitiveness in our compensation packages. Your feedback on the need for decentralized decision-making and leadership development is well-received. We are developing a new program to support our people managers, expected to be released in Q1 of 2024. This program is aimed at providing them with the key knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their roles and to contribute to more effective and inclusive decision-making processes across the company. We appreciate the time and dedication you've given to Global Savings Group. Your contributions have been significant, and your feedback is instrumental in shaping a better future for our company and its members. Warm regards, Your P&C Team
