Pros

Coworkers are cool. The people who work there are very talented and intelligent, but they often don’t feel fully valued. As a result, many end up seeking opportunities elsewhere where their contributions and growth are better recognized. Hear me out! If you want to advance in your career, I don't recommend staying too long.

Cons

There are very limited opportunities for career growth. Most roles feel “locked,” and advancement often depends on someone resigning rather than on performance or development planning. Internal products and processes are quite disorganized. Cross-team collaboration can be challenging, especially when multiple departments need to work together on shared initiatives. Communication gaps and unclear ownership sometimes slow down execution. Collaboration across international teams can be difficult due to availability, time zone differences, and differing work styles. It can be hard to get timely responses when alignment is needed. There is a strong “gaming industry prestige” mindset, the feeling that you should feel lucky to have the brand on your résumé. This sometimes translates into less competitive salary growth or no investment in employee development. Senior leadership can feel somewhat disengaged. Budget approval for courses or professional development is often difficult and requires significant effort.
