I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Austin, TX) in Jan 2012
Interview
3-4 step process, after interviewing with manager on a couple of occasions, then did field ride with rep. If necessary, they may ask you to submit a PowerPoint presentation on explaining the product. After offer was made, the on boarding process was rigorous. Dates, salaries, and prior earnings are greatly scrutinized. Aside from that, it was a standard process that I would go through again in order to work for such a great company.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Lynnwood, WA) in Dec 2011
Interview
I worked with a staffing agency to get me in the door. I had a phone interview with the staffing agency and then a phone interview with an internal ADP HR member. After passing the phone interview stage I met with the VP of Sales in the local office for a one on one interview. Asked standard sales interview questions. After passing that I had a final interview with the Sales Management team where they set up a mock sales pitch meeting. The entire interview essentially consists of role playing a sales meeting.
