I applied in-person. I interviewed at ALDI (Douglasville, GA) in Aug 2017
Interview
The first interview is with the district manager and then you interview with the Store manager. The district managers are the only one's that hire. There is a assessment after you interview with the district manager of you get the job. Availability between 6am -10PM is guaranteed if you are available.
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ALDI (Manchester, England)
Interview
Went to the store for my appointment, there were no staff on the store floor to ask for directions. I ended up having to go through one of the "staff only" doors to ask someone who took me to the staff room. I was then informed the hiring manager AND assistant had not come in today for unspecified reasons, their phones were off and could not be reached. I waited about 40 mins until the store manager told me to go home and that I would be given a call to arrange another interview. It has been a week and I have not heard back.
