The longest process I've known. Applied on 31st December, had an interview last week. Aldi experience today, in 3 foot of snow I de-iced and drove to the store to be told by the manager they were cancelling due to the snow... and didn't think I'd turn up. Not pleased .
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Leeds, England) in Dec 2020
Interview
Took about 6 weeks and various procedures to get to an interview, girl interviewing me was probably 22-25 years old, pleasant enough but very scripted , kinda felt once I’d said my age I’d already not got the job
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ALDI (Lowestoft, England) in Jan 2020
Interview
The interview was done via an app, so all virtual. They ask 5 questions and you have 30 seconds to prep before it starts recording each question. You get a practice question first, if you wish to try it out.
