Applied online and was invited to a group interview. Badly organised from start to finish and the area manager running the session knew less about retail and running a business than most of the general assistants I've worked with over the years. So bad I nearly walked out half way through. All we got was a long discussion about how tough the job is and very little in the way of an actual interview. By the time the maths test came up I really couldn't be bothered.

straight to the point! the interview was short and was asked a few questions about why I want to work for ALDI.I said that I would like a chance to grow with the company. I think ALDI is a very good company to get on board with.

Interview
I had two interviews, one with Store Operations Director and with Area Manager. First interview went nice and smoothly, with straight forward questions. At the beginning were few opening questions and later questions about motivation, and willingness to work for Aldi, also questions about store day to day situations. After completion of first interview i had positive experience and i felt that i passed interview well.
Second interview was with two Area Managers. From beginning of this interview i felt nervous and it was look like the questions they asked were passive and with only interest to caught me up on something. I had a feeling that they just want to get this done faster and don't interested about outcome of the interview itself. Also they didn't smile at all, and there was no communication between interviewers. I felt awful after second interview.
