Managers give you a glimpse of the job and feed you all the nasty of the job to get you to step down. Once deciding to proceed you get a very straight forward behavioral based interview.
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at AT&T in Jan 2026
Interview
I applied through a link on my university's Handshake. I received an assessment invitation about 2 weeks after applying, which ended up being moreso business-oriented. I got a technical interview invite a little over a month after completing this assessment. The technical interview focused on topics like data analysis and automation, and it was with two TDP grads, and it was pretty easy. I got an invite to the final behavioral interview later that same day. The behavioral interview was with the director of the TDP program, and it was fairly conversational with a few standard STAR type questions and more information about the program. I received an offer about two weeks after that final interview.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at AT&T (Austin, TX) in Feb 2026
Interview
I got a codesignal that was styled like a jupyter notebook and I had to perform pandas operations on the the data in the notebook in order to answer multiple choice questions about the data in the notebook.
