I applied online. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at Accenture (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Apr 2015
Interview
I have been working on Java/J2EE technologies for the past 10 years, been interviewed by Accenture for the same but for Bangalore location.
My Interview was scheduled in the month of April, 2015. After going through all the rounds and clearing them I was told to submit the relevant detail online and was provided a link to the Accenture portal. These includes Educational and Professional details, I also needed to submit professional and educational documents attached to emails.
I did as I was instructed, and like any other candidate I waited for the offer letter, but it never happened though. After some week I was again requested to submit the same detail and documents online but to separate email ids. These documents submission continued for some time and to different email ids.
There was no further communication from the organization end after this. I dropped several emails to get an update from them but with no responses. Then after 5 months or so I got a call, this time there was a different HR. He told me that there isn't any matching position for me at Bangalore location and insisted me to join an exciting Project at Mumbai location. I was fine with that, relocation does not bother me much. I accepted his proposal to join on Mumbai base, and he told me someone will get back to me with an offer letter soon. Its been 3 months now after that, no one contacted me.
I then recently contacted an HR (the last HR where I submitted all my documents) and to my shock I was told that the PG Certificate that I submitted was not the format they were expecting. Now please how would a University/College change the format for me. Isn't that something which is impossible. How can I ask my board to change the format of PG certificate just for this reason.
Being working for 10 years I found it very unprofessional and unethical from such a reputed organization. I have always had high regards for the organization but somewhere this experience of mine has left me with a bad taste.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
So many and the interviewer was thoroughly professional.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Accenture (Bengaluru) in Jul 2014
Interview
Very short, unethical, 15 mins technical interview, HR interview for 1 hour , 2 months process lagging, played well with candidate's valuable time mostly for those who are active jobseeker, suddenly after 1 month, one person from bangalore would repeatedly bother for all documents , submit all docs , waste your time ...
after few weeks would get a call from HR for OFFER DISCUSSION - an EXECUSE
He would again ask for few more documents --
send those & check status within few days -
status moved to 'pending client interview' or 'On HOLD-NO DEMAND'
So FUNNY !!
This is the overall STATUS after 2 months of Hiring process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Even a trainee software engineer or engineering students ask better questions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Accenture in May 2012
Interview
Interviewer did not know the exact role he was interviewing me for. So he asked me all general technical questions related to dotnet technologies. Most of the questions were therotical and apparently were taken from internet FAQs. Though questions were theoritical, i preferred to answer it with practical examples.
