I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at American Express in Apr 2015
Interview
First I had to speak with a recruiter for around 20 minutes, he asked me basic questions such as why I was interested in the position and why I had chose to apply to Amex. Only hours later I got to know that I "passed" and got to the real interview, which was with the actual supervisor of the project. That interview took place around a week later and took about one hour. This time there were two people talking to me, and the questions went more in depth. Typical situation and behavioral questions.

Describe how you would handle a situation if you were required to finish multiple tasks by the end of the day, and there was no conceivable way that you could finish them.
I applied online. I interviewed at American Express (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
Interview
I applied on line and submitted a resume. I was called for an interview during which interviewer's main concern was that I was overqualified for the position, based on my previous assignments, which was probably right. I explained that all my previous assignments required heavy international travel and I had decided not to travel anymore. He was persuaded that I was not going to be a short timer filling time, and that is the way it worked out.
