I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Discover (Phoenix, AZ) in Mar 2013
Interview
I applied online and was called about 30 minutes later. Was asked to complete a call simulation online. After I did the simulation she called me back. Had a brief interview on the phone followed by more info about the job. Was asked to come in next day for interview. They had asked me to do research on the company during my phone interview. MAKE SURE you do this. The first question they ask is did you do your homework. The interviewer was friendly and we did a word game and card game with words that you put in order of what most represented you. The questions for this interview were just going over the stuff on the phone pretty much. This interview was about 25 minutes.
Was then asked if i had time to stay for a second interview. Of course I was. I met with two other very nice ladies. They asked basic availability questions that have already been gone over in the previous interviews. And 6 questions. There was nothing hard at all just a few situational questions and what interests you in this position. Then they gave me a packet of questions to answer about internet terms and such. A brief paragraph where you had to pick out any mistakes, then write a brief paragraph why you are the best candidate for the job. They introduced me to a Coach that I was supposed to see after i was finished with the packet and he set me up with someone to shadow and listen in on live calls.
As I did not see the interviewers after they left me to do the packet I am still waiting on an offer or not. But the overall experience was good. They try to make you feel very comfortable.
A few other notes, they do extensive background checks and work verification and you have to show proof of your high school diploma or ged cert.

Question 1
most challenging aspect is to be well versed on the business and the business unit even though you are not familiar with discover or that particular business unit.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Discover (New Castle, DE) in Mar 2013
Interview
The process began with an email asking when a phone interview could be set up. Then, the phone interview consisted of details about the schedule and the position and "Why do you want to work for Discover Card." At the end of the phone conversation I was asked for a 1:1 interview. That interview consisted of an activity of nine cards consisting of good personality characteristics and you had to rate yourself into 3 categories: Best, Middle, Needs improvement. Then, I was asked why I placed certain cards in certain spots. Next I had to pick a magazine I would read and one I wouldn't out of a selection on her IPad, and explain why. After that I was offered a second interview, and again had the position explained to me. Then was told I would hear back in a few days (currently waiting on the answer)
