Dollar General interview questions

Interview is very easy. Basically talks about the scope of job and how would you handle certain situations. Also ask if applicant has flexible availability as it is required depending on how busy the business is.

I went in for an Assistant Manager position got offered a cashier position because they couldn't paid me the salaried requested and they want to test me out to see my work ethics before going full time?
