I applied online. I interviewed at EY (Madrid) in Mar 2013
Interview
4 steps:
1-Interview with HHRR (face to face, quite good as long as you can cope with nerves and meeting new people)
2-Group dynamic (first, an accounting exam test or accounting case and afterwards, develop your role in a teamwork environment, HHRR people are always there evaluating your quality of response and how do you interact with other teammates)
3-Interview with manager (may be another case or just random accounting questions)
4- Interview with a partner (just talk about the audit role in nowadays society)
This was a great interview, pretty relaxed and down to earth interviewer, happy to answer questions about job and career, interesting questions and feedback given on previous stages of application.
So my interview was basically competency based. 1st round consisted of a list of set competency-based questions. So to passs just prepare MANY examples. Final stage interview- I got a question about recent news/developments in Auditing. Also I was asked twice why I want to work in Audit which was a bit confusing. I also had some macroeconomic questions (this is probably because I do Econ at uni and my interviewer was from Econ background).
