So my interview was basically competency based. 1st round consisted of a list of set competency-based questions. So to passs just prepare MANY examples. Final stage interview- I got a question about recent news/developments in Auditing. Also I was asked twice why I want to work in Audit which was a bit confusing. I also had some macroeconomic questions (this is probably because I do Econ at uni and my interviewer was from Econ background).
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at EY (London, England) in Jul 2015
Interview
Overall a really positive experience as it was a strengths based interview and I the questions allowed me to think on the spot. In the interview I was asked my motivations for applying. Why I want to work in the financial services sector of audit and to talk about current affairs to do with the industry.
Very succinct process. They have a lot of activities that allows one to understand the industry and the other members of the firm. This was great interview prep. There was a lot of behaiviorial a few interviews then final rounds which was like almost a huge day for the firm.
