If you have experience in this field it will be a fairly easy interview. The main focus is KPI management. People management skills. Describe what a leader means to you. How do you hold your team accountable? What do you do to drive productive culture in your stores?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gopuff in Jan 2025
Interview
Make sure to explain what the interview will involve beforehand. I was expecting a code-a-long SQL exercise, as is standard in the industry, and instead shared their screen showing a SQL question inside a spreadsheet, which did not give a good impression of Gopuff as a "tech" company. I was then asked questions that I was completely unprepared for and were unrelated to my actual work experience, meaning I wasn't able to demonstrate my actual, real-life skillset.
The interviewer was rude and unprofessional, starting the interview by criticizing the company I currently work for, then going on to ask questions about my current company's strategy which I could obviously not disclose and clearly a tactic to steal ideas.
To top it off, even after taking time to do two rounds of interviews, the recruiter gave me no feedback and sent an automated rejection email instead.

Interview
Applied online, received an email within a week. They happened to have a hiring day that upcoming weekend so it was very easy. Filled out questionnaires while waiting for manager to meet with you. Interview was probably 15 mins. They gave a walk through of the building.
