The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Dublin, Dublin) in Oct 2020
Interview
A technical test followed by 2.5 hours of interview. ! hour was system design, and 1 hour of programming interview. It was followed by half an hour of H.R. interview
I applied online. I interviewed at HubSpot in Sep 2018
Interview
First, an online test that takes up to 3 hours. It's fun and you just need to get it working, it doesn't have to be perfect. Then you move on to a phone screen. I really enjoyed that stage, it was definitely more of a conversation and less of an interrogation. They did a good job selling their culture and they were one of the top 3 companies I was interested in. I was invited for an on-site (in the timeline they promised) but I chose to go with a different company.
A+ for the whole process, made me want to consider the company again in the future.
Thanks for investing the time to go through our coding test and phone interview - even though you had some other great options to choose for your internship, we'd love to stay in touch with you and hope you'll consider interviewing with us again in the future!
Best,
Becky
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA) in Feb 2018
Interview
The interview process had 3 stages. The first stage was a recorded video interview - 5 questions wherein you had 30 seconds to a minute to come up with an answer. The second was a phone interview with a recruiter who wanted to talk about my work experience, what I know about HubSpot and I wanted to get out of it. The third and final was a video interview with 4 HubSpotters from different teams. The recruiters were extremely accomodating and the interviews were also more towards the casual and friendly side.
