I applied online. I interviewed at ITT (Santa Ana, CA) in Apr 2012
Interview
Initial phone interview, basic questions, went well, received a call to set up an interview at the plant, interviewed with the Purchasing Manager, more in depth regarding specific expertise in purchasing methods etc, was very impressed with the Managers knowledge.
Received a call for a 3rd interview, this was a "panel" interview with the veteran Buyers (5 individuals), all were "ivory tower" Buyers who thought highly of themselves,to the point that it was almost comical.
One female who could not speak English clearly was upset that I asked her to repeat her "canned" questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is the least favorite thing you have to do as a Buyer.
They asked too many questions for a job that only pays $1,500 per class. You are responsbile for things like student attendance you have no control over.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ITT (Santa Ana, CA) in Aug 2009
Interview
I was already hired as an Intern so I didn't have to interview for the full time engineer position, but I hear that there are at least 3 interviews. 1 with HR and 2 with engineering managers.
