I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Jefferies
Interview
Bad overall. First, they scheduled and forgot about the interview. I was waiting for 20 min to enter the call but alas, no o e showed up. Later there was 3 interviews with various VPs and Heads and in the end no one even bothered to give a response. Maybe they are still deciding.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Jefferies (London, England) in Mar 2026
Interview
2 rounds of interview - First was technical interview with an analyst (brainteasers, recent deals, valuation methods etc) and second was behavioural with HR - why Jefferies, why investment banking / M&A and STAR questions
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Jefferies in Apr 2026
Interview
The process started with an assessment that included coding, SQL, and LeetCode-style questions. After that, I had a 30-minute behavioral and technical round, followed by a 1-hour technical interview for the Equity team.
From my perspective, both rounds went well, and I was able to answer all the questions asked. The interview experience was positive overall, so I was a bit surprised by the rejection since I felt I had done well.
