First Round 30 Minute Video Interview. Multiple questions regarding background and light technical questions. Asked questions about previous work experience and then asked general financial markets questions. Very friendly interviewer.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Jefferies (New York, NY) in Apr 2022
Interview
1 phone screen and 4 20min panel interviews on Super day. Basically asked on your resume and past projects, several behavior questions. I went through it well and had good feedback.
Rejected after 2 months of waiting
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Jefferies (Jersey City, NJ) in May 2022
Interview
The firm allowed me to speak with higher ups as well as my potential colleagues. I spoke with 5 people and they were all so friendly. I did not get the position, but I was able to learn about the industry and how to become a better candidate. Perhaps when I gain more experience I can try again seeing as it was a very positive environment.
