Question 1
One question they asked me that stood out was, "Can you tell me about a time you went out of your way to help a customer?" they really seemed to care about how you handle real life situations.

Interview
Lowes reached out to me over Linkedin for a potential job
I interviewed with Lowes over the course of 5 weeks with 4 interviews. After the 3rd interview, there was 2 weeks of not hearing anything, then I was asked to interview with the VP of Marketing. This is odd for a Manager to interview with VP 3 levels up with such a large company and is extremely micromanaging in my opinion. She came into the call with a stern attitude, and was a fast talker. I thought I did great in the interview, but it felt like she was looking for ways to not hire me vs. the positives I could bring with over 10 years experience. She did not ask me any detailed questions about the role itself. I was also told there would be a max of 3 interviews. To have a 4th one with the VP and her approach to the interview, told me she does not trust her own leadership to make decisions. In the end it felt like it was based on her mood for the day and not what was best for the organization as a whole. Again it is extremely odd to be that far up in a Fortune 50 company interviewing lower level employees. It was a red flag to me that she is extremely in the weeds and lacks delegating experience and trust for her people. Her questions were surface level in nature.
