I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at MANTECH (Chantilly, VA) in Feb 2013
Interview
I was browsing all the DoD contractors when I came across Mantech's page. I submitted a résumé online and was contacted by a recruiter almost a week later. There was an initial screening over the phone asking if I would be available for world wide locations and I replied yes. I felt good after that phone conversation. Another week had passed and I was contacted by the hiring manager. We talked more about my clearance and location and offered me the job. I gladly accepted, who wouldn't in this economy? The next couple weeks the company HR sent me multiple emails with very detailed instructions. They were very easy to follow and when I did have a question I was able to contact my personnel coordinator very easily. All in all, the hiring. And interview process so far seems very well organized and a pleasant experience.

Question 1
When applying for a position overseas, make sure you know your tax laws before they send you the hiring packet. You will have to fill out the tax forms then.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MANTECH (Hanscom AFB, MA) in Feb 2013
Interview
I applied for the position online, and was contacted the next day by the hiring manager. Two hours later that same day, I was interviewing for the role in a local coffee shop, as the manager's office is in a secure building. The hiring manager was very approachable and friendly, and gave me a lot of great information about the position. The questions he asked were standard - nothing surprising. On Monday, I received a phone call from him requesting references, and was told I should hear something shortly about a decision. I received a phone call on Tuesday from the recruiter in Maryland, letting me know they were in the process of getting together an offer for me.

Question 1
The interview questions were standard for the position for which I was applying. The only unexpected variables were the timing and venue - they needed to fill this position right away.
