I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Publix
Interview
Very short and unprofessional. I was asked ridiculous questions. They did a lot of my important information over the phone which resulted in another easy pointless interview. They hire anyone and anyone as long as you can pass a drug test
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Publix (Atlanta, GA) in Jul 2014
Interview
Filled out an application at the JAC (Job Application Center), then spoke with the store manager right after. She was really nice and told me she would pull my application. I got a call about a week later for an interview with the department manager. He was really relaxed and personable and the questions were just general questions about myself. He said he wanted me for the job and to expect a call from the store manager for a second interview. A couple days later, I received the call from the store manager to set up an interview with her. The second interview with the her was a couple days later and was just as relaxed as the first one. She was extremely welcoming, and it felt like we were having a general conversation, not a job interview. At the end, she gave me an offer and I accepted. Both interviews were pretty quick (no more than 15 min). Entire process, with orientation, was about 2-3 weeks.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Publix (Orlando, FL) in Aug 2011
Interview
I submitted an application in a store and received a call within 3 days for an interview. I came in for 1 interview where I was asked about my experience from a prior employer.
