Interview
Phone interview HR screen and then with 3 partners in the practice. Questions over resume and recent experience. They were very nice and polite during the interview. I initially declined and then they asked me to interview with two more partners before they reconsider which I am open to.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at PwC (London, England) in Jun 2021
Interview
I was represented by a recruitment company. Once my CV was shortlisted, I had first round with a Senior Manager. He liked my experience and recommended me to next round. I had another round with Director and he liked my experience as well and I was moved to Partner panel round.
Strangely, before partner panel, I had got a meeting request from a partner of PwC to give me a brief on partner panel. I questioned my recruitment agent that why a Partner is coming forward to de-brief me but I did not get any answer.
Any how I went ahead to attend the pre-panel information session from Partner. To my surprise the Partner, from Indian origin, started interviewing me without giving any heed to why I was there for the session.
Through out the interview I felt he was suspicious and trying to find faults and his body language was un-necessary snobbish. Really did not feel like a place I should get into.
I was not offered in the end and the reason I got was that I do not have sales experience however I was never asked a BD question in the interview - hurray!. What a poor experience to get from such an esteemed organisation!
virtual interviews with internal recruiters and then 2 directors (with cases) and 3 partners and then another 4 partners in a different sector; overall process was efficient due to the push for decision making from my end otherwise it could be really long as I have another offer on hand
