I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at SAIC (Arlington, VA) in Nov 2009
Interview
Interviews consisted of a series of informal meetings with middle and upper management over lunch and/or dinner. Most of interview seemed to aim at indirect or subtle discussions which were cover for probing questions on market understanding and strategy. Some leaders spent more time selling their organization or entire company. Most wanted to discern strategic value I could provide. Overall tone pleasant but some uncertainty due to indirect approach.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Not really a question. Interviewer appeared to postulate erroneous view of markets and market sectors with regard to growth potential. So, the question was subtle and the method for responding required both tact and conviction.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at SAIC (Chantilly, VA) in Jul 2008
Interview
very pleasant overall. they asked what my background was in the field, a bunch of common sense stuff you would normally pick up in the field, they felt a bachelors degree was important (not necessarily a specific field. Just a bachelors degree in general). It was imperative that i also had a top secret SCI security clearance.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SAIC in Feb 2010
Interview
The process was easy and cordial. Talked about the job and the relationship with the customers as well as the outside stackholders. Did a good job of describing the challendges of working in the environment of a government installation and keeping up with so many entities. I thought they were being honest almost to a fault but I already knew what they were talking about since I had worked on this facility before.
