I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at SAIC (Washington, DC)
Interview
After submitting my resume, I was contacted by SAIC's HR to set-up an appointment with the hiring manager. Ahead of the interview, I was informed the position was contingent on the company winning the contract; it was seven months after the initial interview that SAIC won the contract and called me back to set-up a start date.

Question 1
I was asked to name one area about myself that I had considered lacking, and what steps I took to make improvements.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at SAIC (Stennis Space Center, MS) in Sep 2012
Interview
Meeting via telephone with the customer and the SAIC program manager. Customer described the main things needed for the job and asked if I was able to do them. Based on my resume, there was no doubt that I'd done that sort of work before and could continue to perform the tasks required.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SAIC in Sep 2015
Interview
Was very relaxed and more interested in finding a fit in the company culture rather than qualifications. They didn't ask any particularly difficult questions and were very interested in answer mine. Quite enjoyable overall.
