I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Siemens
Interview
Highly disappointed. A leading German brand is confused about the roles in its organization. My interview was for the role of so called 'Technical Scrum master', a role that some companies who can't afford a full time scrum master have invented. I can understand they want someone with technical background to understand the projects better but asking internal working of data structures and pure java based tech questions in first round itself made me think that this company or at-least its Indian subsidiary is highly confused about the roles & responsibilities of a scrum master. I thought scrum master would be the primary role for this job profile but it turned out, they want a java developer with half cooked knowledge on scrum.
Just don't go for their scrum master interviews, it would be a waste of your and panel's time as they are not really sure what they really want to hire-a developer or a scrum master.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Siemens (Bengaluru) in Mar 2021
Interview
Interview process was neat, I had around 6 rounds of interview. Each round it went for more or less 60 to 90 mins. The difficulty level was changing as per the rounds of interview. However, 4th and 5th round was really tough with lot of situation based and role plays interview by partner from Germany.
