Interview
Total 4 rounds
1. MCQ based on the technology you applied. The level of difficulty was average.
2. Technical Round
3. 2nd Technical Round
4. Managerial Round
The technical interview was one of the best interview I ever had. Not just bookish knowledge , but also practical scenario based. You have to think out of the box. Interviewer also explained me whenever I gave wrong answer.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Siemens (Bengaluru) in Feb 2017
Interview
The interview consisted of two technical round and after that one managerial and one HR round of discussion. Interviewers were very good, and they asked very basic conceptual questions. I cleared both the technical rounds as well as the managerial round after which i was asked to fill a form for the HR discussion and leave for the day as the HR discussion was planned to happen over the phone. after around 4days, I got a call from the HR asking me about my current and expected salary and the minimum salary below which I will not join the company. I told him my expectation and asked him how much they are planning to offer me but the HR guy didn't tell me any figure. He said he didn't know and can tell me about it only after I tell them about my expectation adn they have an internal discussion. He was supposed to get back to me within 3-4days but there was no response. I kept on writing mails to the HR but they just don't bother to reply. Then somehow, i managed my contact person's mobile number using my connections and then that guy said "your HR interview feedback was negative so we cannot go ahead with your profile".
These people first of all don't follow any process. In the HR round, every candidate will start with an inflated amount as his/her expected salary and then the HR person will come up with a figure after which they together come to the final decision. But here, they didn't even bother to negotiate. not even a figure was told to me and it was completely one sided. They don't even bother to tell you that this is what we can offer you, let us know if you will be interested like any other normal organisation. They silently reject a candidate without having the minimum courtesy of letting him/her know anything about his/her candidature. I have been going through other glassdoor reviews as well and could see that this has become a trend for Siemens. Also, if they don't have enough money to pay the minimum hike as per industry standards (i.e. 30%) then they should not call a candidate first of all.
