I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TD
Interview
After submitting the resume, I got interviewed by the team directly. There is no online screening. I chatted with two data scientists on the team. They are professional. I didn't have a lot of time to prepare for the domain knowledge. Overall a good experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Behavior questions, ML questions(random forest, etc)
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at TD (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2021
Interview
I can describe the interview experience as a Data Challenge type:
First part: Coding/SQL interview
The first part of the interview (coding test) included 2 SQL query questions and one Python algorithm question.
Second part: Statistics and ML interview
For the ML interview, I was asked general questions regarding the end to end of more training, how I would do your data cleaning, feature engineering, mode selection, model performance over time etc. There won’t be a coding. Requirement or anything hands on.
Third part: History and fit interview
This part will focus a lot on your resume and I was asked some standard behavioral questions.
