I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tata Consultancy Services in Feb 2010
Interview
First there was an aptitude test, mainly maths and some puzzles (very standard), next I was called for a 1:1 interview, the guy was really nice. I was nervous, he understood that and asked me to relax. First question he asked me whether I had lunch and offered me a five star as I hadn't :). He started with simple data structure and algorithm questions, then we discussed my final year project for a long time and lastly he asked some standard HR questions. It was a nice experience.

Interview
After clearing the TCS National Qualifier Test (NQT), I attended a single interview round that combined technical and HR questions. The interviewer focused on my projects, programming knowledge, and understanding of current technologies. One of the main discussion topics was the difference between traditional software systems and AI-based systems. The interview was conversational, and the interviewer evaluated problem-solving ability, communication skills, and technical understanding. The overall experience was positive and the difficulty level was average.
