Interview
I had applied for a position in TI Bangalore through an employee referral. The interview date & time was set as per my convenience. The interviewers were very cordial & supportive.
They started with RLC circuits.
1) Drew 3/4 different RC circuits and asked questions about the input to output waveforms.
2) Drew an actual regulator circuit with a cap connected between output and resistor divider feedback point and asked what is the function of this cap.
3) 2/3 Different types of MOS based amplifier circuits and asked their gain. o/p impedance, advantage of one wrt other.
2 weeks later when I inquired about the result of the interview process, I was told that I have been rejected.

Interview
Got interview call during campus career fair recruitment.
Interviewer was very kind and patient.
Asked about previous projects. Dug a bit deep into the projects.
Asked few simple questions regarding testing of a voltage regulator.
Asked to write the same process for testing in a C program.
Then we talked about general stuff TI does and interviewer also told in detail what his team does.
Still awaiting response. No offer as of now.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Dallas, TX) in Dec 2011
Interview
First had a phone interview consisting of behavioral questions. Second phone interview consisted of basic questions of op amps and mosfets. You defiantly need to know your basics. I was told that I would receive another phone interview afterwards because they wanted a second opinion. The interviewer was very kind and made you feel comfortable.
