I applied online. I interviewed at UPS (Worcester, MA) in Nov 2016
Interview
Interview was brief as I had a clean driving record and could drive a manual transmission. A brief, informal road test was conducted - and this was before going to a week of formal & intense UPS driver's training.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at UPS (Englewood, CO) in Nov 2016
Interview
The application is entirely online. They didn't ask for a resume, but had me enter all of the information from my resume into a long series of forms. The interview was really more of an information session, to make sure that I was comfortable with UPS's expectations. After the "interview," I had to pass a DOT physical and a UPS drive test, plus attend 40 hours of (paid) training and pass a couple of classroom and driving tests.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UPS (Kansas City, MO) in Oct 2015
Interview
Swift; a relative of mine is a current manager and recommended me to a facility. I spoke to a manager at the facility I put an application into and was given all the details of the hiring process. Only make or break for the job is being able to drive a manual vehicle.
