Interview
Quick, phone interview telling you the details of the job. They'll ask for availability and experience. If you seem like a good fit, you got the job. Takes about 2 weeks for background screening and orientation.
I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart (Bentonville, AR) in Aug 2024
Interview
The interview was a panel format with two interviewers. It opened with four standard behavioral questions, though the interviewers did dig deeper with follow-up probes, so come prepared to elaborate beyond your initial response. The interview closed with a case study similar in nature to a merchandising exercise, centered around identifying the optimal placement strategy for a new product launch.
Very simple questions, mainly about customer service. The process for me was pretty fast. It was over the phone and then got called for person training. Training included modules and a tour of the department.
