Interview
I recently attended a final-round interview at the Gurgaon office of Wood Mackenzie. While the interview discussion itself was professional, I was disappointed with the overall candidate experience.
Candidates travelling from outside Gurgaon were neither offered basic hospitality (such as tea/coffee) nor have any travel reimbursement policy. For a global firm of Wood Mackenzie’s stature, I expected a more structured and considerate interview process.
A positive candidate experience reflects organizational culture, and I hope the company reviews and improves this aspect for future applicants.

Interview
Standard HR screening followed by a hiring manager and panel interview. While the initial stages were professional, the experience was ruined by complete ghosting after the final step. It is disappointing to reach the end of the process and receive zero feedback or even a basic decision. This seems to be a recurring pattern in their recruitment hygiene; my application status was simply changed to inactive in the portal 4 months later without any contact. If you interview here, be prepared for a potential black hole after the final round.
