I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Wood Mackenzie (London, England) in Sep 2019
Interview
I first got contacted by the recruiter which then set a video interview with the director of the department. There was a sound issue during the interview, however, the style of the interview was pretty chilled.
Yet, the interviewer told me to be confident that I am in the next stage and I should expect a call directly from him which will include me giving a mock presentation on a topic they will choose. After waiting for 3 weeks, the recruiter sent me an apology email which explains that there were better candidates and he cannot comment on the interviewers choice of words.
It seemed very unprofessional and the way I got treated was very disrespectful. Either the recruiter should be a part of the interview or the interviewer should be very careful before giving false confidence.
Very very unpleasant.

Question 1

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wood Mackenzie (Edinburgh, Schottland) in Feb 2019
Interview
From application to the interview in the office the process was efficient and took about a month in total which I think is pretty fast. There was an online numerical test and a 'video' interview, requiring to record the answers to several questions. Then, an interview in the office which took half a day. In addition to my manager to be, there were a few other relevant people for the typical initial interview 'about me', technical interview and presentation. I got the response within less than a week. Good overall experience, friendly people during the interview.
