Pros

Benefits and pay were good, and I worked with a nice group of people. The company requires everyone to spend some time working in a store to learn the basis of the company, which is most beneficial.

Cons

Worked in a catch-22 situation. The company entered a market that was already saturated with convenience stores. They bought some stores from a competitor to get a foothold in the market and wanted to add more stores, but limited growth to the area within the beltway only. In an already crowded market it was next to impossible to find good, viable locations for new stores when restricted to such a confined area. Operations and Real Estate did not have a good relationship, so each was very leery of the other.
