Pros

Big company with strong brand recognition - so many companies and vendors are interested in working with you. Salary isn't extraordinary but fair.

Cons

No clear career path or career development. People get constantly moved from one job and area to the next. No opportunity to move up, rarely anyone in Marketing gets promoted.

Pros

Work life balance is good, some really smart people.

Cons

No internal training or development means managers who work their way up have strong operations skills but weak leadership / business skills and no talent development. ex: little to no experience with budget concepts, inability to use excel, create a business plan, or presentations. Promotions based on relationships rather then performance. Benefits are horrible. I pay more for medical insurance than my 4 friends combined. Pay is at the bottoms of industry average for experience and position..
