The job is definitely never boring.

Cons

No work-life balance. When I was in implementation there was huge turnover and a constant struggle to keep capacity at a managable level. Be careful not to be too good at your job or they won't want to let you move out of the department you are in.

Great culture, can promote easily if you are timely and perform well

Very demanding workload, high turnover, some of the configuration systems do not perform well (this could have changed since)
