Pros

ASML produce some the most advance tools in the world. Great opportunity to learn amazing high level technical genres. Most colleagues are nice, helpful and genuine. Opportunity to work on at least 3 different continents if you like to travel. European company a plus, different cultures and back ground help keeps company very dynamic with new procedures and processes. Profit sharing great, at the end of year. Overall Corporate ASML is a great place to work with a life balance.

Cons

Salary pay tends to be a little lower than industry standards, raises are pretty flat or small, majority of the time. Lots of dead weight with leadership and management teams. No real programs available to the general massive whom want to climb the corporate ladder. If your manager or leadership team doesn't like you, your pretty much stuck. As an international diverse a company, that diversity does not reflect in supervisor, upper management or executive board levels. Policies at corporate level is good, when implemented at local level leadership teams seem to be disconnected from original scope or definitions of policies. Still have some pockets of the good old boys crew no new members allowed, I'm sure they are fading away slowly.

Pros

Great products, market leader, good development/ education programs within the company

Cons

Power and decision making centralized at corporate in Veldhoven NL. Regional offices and field office wield no power and have very limited opportunities to influence in a strategic impactful way. High expectations with regards to output (which is fine) not given the proper tools or systems to achieve desired results. The world world class is thrown around a great deal with regards to the products that ASML creates and the expectation of ASML on its employee base. Ask about the systems you will be using, you might be surprised with how antiquated the systems can be at ASML.

Pros

Good company, fascinating product, chance to travel, structured workflow, and good colleagues. Work-life balance is good, with 40 vacation days, good base salary and flexible working hours.

Cons

Employees are not incentivized to develop themselves. Trainings are fuzzy, and 95% is learnt on the job. Coaching and mentoring not encouraged. Some colleagues are too focused on keeping their job, they are not collaborative.
