Pros

The people at Accenture are some of the brigheset, hardest working people out there.

Cons

The staffing and demand model is hard to manage and is unfair to the employees. The performance assessment and annual processes are severly broken. Work life balance is a joke. Valiant effort to put in programs to help, but most traveling people can't take advantage of them.

Pros

Exposure to top-end, big-league business projects, budgets & challenges; travel; training; solid resume value

Cons

serious travel for extended periods; very high standards of performance (nearly all very talented, serious, focused people - no mellow folks need apply) so odds of "making it to the top" definitely reduced per the high quality talent pool
